An Insight to Infiniti G25

Get ready for the Infiniti line-up expansion this September with the introduction of the G25, a new entry-level sedan at a starting price of $30,950. Following its predecessor, G25 packs all the amenities of the G37 sedan, but with less power and a budget-minded price tag.

Three models are noted to take off first: G25 Sedan, G25 Sedan Journey and G25x Sedan AWD. The G25 will pack a 2.5-liter V-6 engine that produces 218 horsepower. By comparison, the G37 has 328 horsepower. The G25 Sedan will come with a standard 7-speed automatic transmission and is available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

The standard G25, G25 Journey or G25x (AWD) comes equipped with leather and power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, six-speaker audio, 17-inch aluminum wheels, HID Xenon headlamps and the normal array of electo-nannies. An optional RearView monitor and dual-zone temperature control, along with heated front seats and outside mirrors, are available on the Journey.

“With the new G25 Sedan, we’re broadening the appeal of the G Line with a model designed to provide an additional choice for buyers looking for a true luxury sedan, but who might not need the higher levels of performance provided by our larger engine-equipped G37 models,” said Infiniti Vice President Ben Poore.
